Of those Deputies pictured, only two remained with Police Motorcycle Escort after the Sheriff forced the officers to dissolve the unit for political reasons.
Lynn Blackburn remained with PME until April 1, 2004. Dennis Thomas is still the president and C.E.O. of the company.
This patch was used by the original Funeral Escorts that started in Franklin County as early as 1945.

This is the last patch worn by Funeral Escorts prior to the order of disbanding by the Sheriff of Franklin County.
